The Michigan National Guard Adopt-A-Family Program is an opportunity for organizations and families to reach out and support a family. Adopt-A-Family Program, coordinated through the State Family Program Office in Lansing, MI, is seeking organizations and families interested in sponsoring a Michigan National Guard family. Your support may be in the form of money, food, or mentorship.

A great organization that provides Soldier contacts. You can read throught the names and select the ones you wish to support. They list what they want, an even have a search capability so you can easily identify what units need.

Started by a 12 and 13-year-old brother and sister, this organization provides phone cards for Soldiers and is planning on providing cell phones.

This military survivors organization has been serving war widows from all conflicts and service connected disabilities since 1945.

This is a Department of Defense program that allows anyone to buy phone cards for Soldiers at Military Exchange prices.
Henderson State University
Members of the Army National Guard can now get their tuition paid if they attend Henderson State University. Dr. Charles Dunn, president of HSU, along with Major General Don C. Morrow, adjutant general for Arkansas, signed the agreement that allows men and women in the National Guard to participate in the program at Henderson.
Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
The Fund provides unrestricted grants to the families of military personnel who have given their lives in the current operations in defense of our country.

Operation AC
This charity sends 110v single phase air conditioners to our troops in Iraq. They also send medical supplies to the Combat Support Hospitals for both injured American Soldiers and for the staff, as well as care packages to our troops overseas.

Spirit of America Tour
The Spirit of America Tour is a nonprofit organization that brings headlining entertainment free of charge to military personnel and military families across the country in an effort to boost morale. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has called the Spirit of America Tour "a resounding success and a great morale building effort."
St. Mary's Food Bank
St. Mary's is a non-profit organization, based in Arizona. They recently sent 100 turkey dinners to AZARNG families for Thanksgiving. Now they are shipping care packages to deployed AZARNG.
Treats for Troops
Sends care packages to troops. Website includes Treats fo Troops Gift Shop that offers everything from freshly baked cookies to hand and face wipes and phone cards. Treats for Troops also offers a Foster-A-Soldier Program which automatically matches you with a registered Soldier, or you can choose to sponsor a group of Soldiers.
Troop Care Package
Since October 2, 2005, Angel Ramsey has been sending care packages to troops deployed to Iraq. Through requests and donated items, Angel and her family and friends have been able to send almost 200 care packages to soldiers overseas. Donations are always appreciated! Check it out!
