1. Watch Where We're Goin' Play
Watch Where We're Goin'

Intro

I think we need to watch where we’re goin’
Instead of where we’ve been
Use a rearview mirror to reflect now and then
Let’s kick back enjoy the journey in forward motion
And get our love back on track
And watch where we’re goin’

Verse 1

Lately all we talk about
Are the bad days we seem to have
Diggin’ out old memories
Reliving too much of the past
Baby we keep driving through the landscape of yesterday
Losing sight of a better future
That’s waiting up ahead

Chorus

I think we need to watch where we’re goin’
Instead of where we’ve been
Use a rearview mirror to reflect now and then
Let’s kick back enjoy the journey in forward motion
And get our love back on track
And watch where we’re goin’

Verse 2

Lately we’ve been reckless
N’ Need to heal the hurt we’ve done
N stop placing blame, telling lies, playing games
About who’s the better one
It’s a race that no one wins if love doesn’t stay alive
So let go of the wheel, grab a hold of what’s real
And let our hearts drive

Repeat Chorus

Bridge

We’ve got a lot more life to live
And more love left to give
So head’s up

3. Night And Day Play
Night And Day

Verse 1

I don’t know what your searching for
But some day soon I hope you find it.
You’re out there acting twenty-one, I’m constantly reminded.
As daylight burns thru the window our girl lies next to me
Resting on the same side of the bed you used to keep.
And I don’t know what to do. I can’t stop missing you.

Chorus

I still think about you Night and Day.
From the moment I wake up ‘till I kneel down to pray.
And when I speak with the Man above I end my prayers this way.
Help me hold on until you lead him home
Here where he belongs Night and Day.

Verse 2

I heard a noise just the other night a soft whisper down the hall.
I tiptoed to Jenny's room she'd pulled your picture from the wall.
She said, “Daddy when ya coming home? I wish it was tonight”.
I stood back in the shadows so he would not see me cry.
And I don’t know what to do. I can’t stop missing you.

Chorus

Bridge

Well she looked up at me as my tears were falling down
She said "Momma don’t you worry about a thing"
"I know Daddy will be coming back just you wait and see"
"Cause there’s nothing better than the love from you and me"

I still think about you Night and Day.
From the moment I wake up ‘till I kneel down to pray.
And when I speak with the Man above I end my prayers this way.
Help me hold on until you lead him home
Here where he belongs Night and Day.

Lord help us hold on until you lead him home
Back to our loving arms Night and Day

4. 94 Doge, Interstate 80 Play
94 Doge, Interstate 80

Verse 1

I threw out the map somewhere near Topeka
This road's become my friend- in a way my anesthesia
Running from the past, from a love that couldn't last
Out here on my own, this road's become my home

(I'm living at.)

Chorus

'94 Dodge, Interstate 80
Searching for my soul, because I haven't seen it lately
Watching for the sign that says, "Healing- one more mile"
Meanwhile, I'm at '94 Dodge, and Interstate 80

Verse 2

These wheels have worn well, passing all the questions
As the dashes go by, I rewind all his confessions
I was so blind, life is unkind
Numbing the pain, in the fast lane

(You'll find me at.)

Chorus

When I finally get there, I'll find what I need
It's no destination; I'm just looking for peace of mind at

5. Torn Play
Torn

Words and Music by Andrew Cochrane

Verse 1

It was not the high light of my life, you left me sittin’ there
Down by the riverside café, you caught me unaware
And now the months have gone by, I’m thinking that we’re through
Then out of the blue you’re at my door, askin’ me can I forgive you

Chorus

Now I’m just torn, it’s so hard to forget that you’d gone away and left me
Left me alone, fight’n back tears, feeling taken for granted, baby
Now I could have sworn, that it was all over, you made up your mind to leave me
Leaving me torn, and now you turn up with flowers and say that you love me, Again

Verse 2

I’m still trying to forget you, though my heart still wants you here
And I’m trying to be strong, have to move on
So out of the blue you’re at my door, asking me can I forgive you

Chorus

Bridge

I made a promise to myself, if I ever saw you again
I would just walk away
But I never thought that…. you’d be back

6. Only Better Play
Only Better

Words and Music by Larry Wayne Clark and Neil Herman. 2003 All Rights Reserved, Brainchild Music (SOCAN)/BME Entertainment (BMI)

Verse 1

It’s like the 4th of July
Bottle rockets in the sky
Christmas morning when you’re five
And full of wonder
It’s like being down on you luck
Even the bottom looks up
Then winnin’ ten million bucks
On a lucky number
Every poem, every love song, every Valentines card
Could barely start to say what’s in my heart

Chorus

‘Cause it’s like tryin’ to describe the indescribable
Climb the unclimbable, reinvent the wheel
Oooh, your kiss makes me believe the unbelievable
It’s inconceivable, how good I feel
You could just about knock me over with a feather
Feel like a kid livin’ in a candy store forever
Only better

Verse 2

It’s like the roar of the crowd
On their feet and screamin’ loud
And the way your heart pounds
When your team’s winnin’
It’s like my ship just came in
Finding my second wind
Or bein’ with family & friends
To share Thanksgiving
I could search the dictionary ‘till the pages all blurred
But I’m not sure I’d ever find the words

7. I'm Not Ready To Do That Play
I'm Not Ready To Do That

Words and Music by Larry Wayne Clark and Lila McCann. 2002 All Rights Reserved, Brainchild Music (SOCAN)/Binky Broadcasting (BMI)

Verse 1

Everybody’s tellin’ me
To let go of what I can’t see, just move on
Don’t be a fool, don’t waste your time
‘Cause out of sight is out of mind, he’s long gone
I’m runnin’ from the truth I know
A wiser heart would just let go

Chorus

But I’m not ready to do that yet
Say goodbye
Forget the magic in your eyes
And how you made me feel like I
Was the only one around
I want it to be just like it used to be
When you only had eyes for me
Someday I’ll take that giant step
But I’m not ready to do that
Not ready to do that yet

Verse 2

I cant’ just turn off my hear
Flip a switch and somehow start a new life
‘Cause I got back to what we had
Before the good turned into bad
And then died
There’s a light beyond the tunne’s end
Some day I will love again

Repeat Chorus

Bridge

The way you touched me
The way you said you loved me
I told myself a thousand times
I gotta get you off my mind

Healin' Wind

Words and Music by Larry Wayne Clark, Rob Heath and Cori Brewster. 2002 All Rights Reserved, Brainchild Music/Rob Heath Music/Shadow Lake Music (all SOCAN)

Verse 1

When you found me, bruised and battered
Hangin’ by a thread, I was reachin’ out
I lost sight of all that mattered
Love was something I’d learned to live without
I’d about given up
Then I felt your touch

Chorus

Like a healin’ wind, blowin’ in
Dance across my senses
When the storm clouds roll, through my soul
Breakin’ down my defenses
Your smile warms my heart again
Like a healin’ wind

Verse 2

When I’m feelin’ under the weather
Don’t need no wonder drug to cure what’s ailin’ me
Find what’s hurtin’, kiss it better
Baby your lovin’ arms, are my remedy
There ain’t a day goes by
You don’t life me higher

9. I Could Lie Play
I Could Lie

Verse 1

Here we are, closer than close
Our two bodies clothed by the light of the moon
And we try, to pretend we’re still ok
But you look at me that way, and I know it’s not true
Oh baby, don’t know what to do.

Chorus

I could lie beside you, a million more nights
Though it wouldn’t be wrong, it wouldn’t be right
Cuz deep down my heart knows it’s time for goodbye
Oh I wish I Could, I wish I Could Lie

Verse 2

All my dreams, are wrapped up in us
And I thought our love, was all that I need
So I cry, for all that we have lost,
And die again because, the wounds cut so deep
Oh baby, you’re still apart of me

Chorus

Bridge

I can’t give you reasons.    I can’t tell you why
But I can’t fool myself.    So I wish I Could Lie

1. Letters From War Play
Letters From War

Written by Mark Schuhltz and Cindy Morgan

She walked to the mailbox
On that bright summer day
Found a letter from her son
In a war far away

He talked of the weather
And good friends that he'd made
Said I'd been thinking 'bout dad
And the life that he had
Thats why I'm here today
Then at the end he said
You are what I'm fighting for
It was the first of the letters from war

She started writing
You're good and you're brave
What a father that you'll be someday
make it home
make it safe

She wrote every night as she prayed

Late in December
A day she'll not forget
Oh her tears stained the paper
With every word that she read

It said "I was up on a hill
I was out there alone
When the shots all rang out
And bombs were exploding
Thats when I saw him
He came back for me
And though he was captured
A man set me free
That man was your son
He asked me to write to you
I told him i would, oh I swore"
It was the last of the letters from war

And she prayed he was livin'
Kept on believin'
And wrote every night just to say

You are good
And you're brave
What a father that you'll be someday
Make it home
Make it safe
Still she kept writing each day

Then two years later
Autumn leaves all around
A car pulled in the driveway
And she fell to the ground
And out stepped a captain
Where her boy used to stand

He said "mom I'm following orders
From all of your letters
And I've come home again",
He ran into hold her
And dropped all his bags on the floor
Holding all of her letters from war

Make It Home
Make It Home
Make It Home
