Heather Wilkins was born in Torrance, California. The daughter of a Mechanical Engineer and a teacher, Heather and her family lived in many places in the United States and around the world. The one constant was music.
She began singing at the age of 3. Her parents have said that she sang before she could talk. Music consumed her life and since then Heather has been performing in one form or another.
Heather has had a lifelong passion for music and people. Last year, she was fortunate to find the independent record label, Hollyville Records who signed her.
While living in different areas of the U.S., she acquired a taste for a variety of musical styles. Her iPod has everything from country and rock to jazz and pop. Her playlists jump around from artist such as Trisha Yearwood, to Diana Krall, to Nickelback and then to Kelly Clarkson. This appreciation for many genres of music has contributed to her musical style and broad variety of songs on her debut CD while still staying true to the country format she loves.
Heather hopes that 2008 allows her to perform in front of many fans including our troops at home and abroad.
